Today, April 1st, our school community stands in unwavering support of our incredible principal, Nancy Jackson, as she undergoes her mastectomy. Her strength, resilience, and dedication to our students inspire us every day, and we want her to know she is not alone in this journey.
Let's rally around her with love, encouragement, and positivity! If you'd like to send a card or message of support, please drop them off at the main office. She is hoping to return on April 21st. Together, we are stronger!
Our 7th grade Yeti of the Week is Brinley! She is a thoughtful and hardworking student who is always ready to lend a hand. She is intelligent, respectful, and takes her responsibilities seriously. Whether supporting her peers or focusing on her own tasks, she consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Her kindness and dependability make her an important part of our Praxium community!
Our 8th grade Yeti of the Week is JT! JT is an outstanding student who consistently demonstrates dependability and a strong work ethic. He is not only committed to his school work but also looks outward, being a supportive and caring friend to those around him. JT sets a wonderful example for his peers. Stay awesome, JT!
Hope Squad is a peer-led suicide prevention program that empowers students to support their peers and promote mental wellness in their schools. Through activities like Hope Week, students spread kindness and awareness about mental health, while the Hope Squad Conference provides training and inspiration for members to strengthen their impact. Hope Squad helps create a safer, more supportive school environment.
Reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences are next Monday, April 7th from 4-8 PM. Please contact your student's mentor teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
Congratulations to our talented RMMS/Praxium Orchestra for earning a Superior Rating at Contest! Their hard work, dedication, and passion for music truly shined on stage, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievement.
Thank you to our amazing musicians and director, Dr. Baldwin, for representing our school with excellence. Way to go, Orchestra!
Mrs. Rescorla's math classes are looking for fully clothed Barbie donations. They will be using them for a math project. If you would like to donate, please drop them off in the main office with Mrs. Lassen. Thank you!
We're looking to build creativity and hands-on learning opportunities for our students, and we need your help! If you have any new or gently used LEGO bricks at home that you no longer need, we'd love to take them off your hands.
If your student has accomplished a goal or experienced something awesome, we want to hear about it! If you'd like to recognize your student, please email Mrs. Lassen at lassenr@d93mail.com.
If you'd like to buy some Yeti swag, use the QR code to place your order.
Please scan the QR code to join the PTO GroupMe where parents can communicate school needs and ideas. If you are interested in volunteering for a role in the PTO, we would greatly appreciate it!
